Experienced something similar back in 2010-2011. The difference was that this one had a low frequency of oscillation but a greater wavelength. There were intervals between quakes around 4-5 second intervals twice.0

Initially thought I imagined it in my head with the first tremor. But the bed and wall hangings were shaking quite vigorously. Once it stopped I jumped out of bed, only for it to begin again. Peeked outside my apartment window and people in the nearby offices/buildings had evacuated and were standing on the road. Was considering doing the same when thankfully it stopped.0

It felt very strong considering it was about 820km away from epicenter or so. The feeling in the building was like being dizzy from a hamock. I noticed our cat was acting up since the morning and then suddenly we all went to a halt an sat down and the tremor started around 14:35pm abu dhabi time. Scary feeling even if we are used to tremors. Deepest symphathy to Iran. 0
