We felt the earthquake really strong. There was a big sound like wooooo. And in my house some objects fell from the bookcases and the table.

We were on the 10th floor of the largest hospital on the Balkans, visiting my father. It started at the exact moment we went up and entered the room. I've been through a bunch of (relatively minor) earthquakes, but I've never experienced such intensive swaying, and for so long. All doctors, nurses, patients -- ourselves included -- went out into the corridor and were holding on through a doorway or to a wall. It lasted for almost a minute.

Started with clicking noises from furniture continued with light NW/SE Swaying for 30 sec fading out.. Chandelliers swayed for about 4 minutes

My husband and I were sitting on the lounge on the 4th story of a very sturdy, well built and fairly old apartment when the shaking started. I asked him if he was moving the lounge, started off lightly and then increased in intensity. Glasses began to clang together and a very heavy fireplace even began to sway. People were in the street yelling out "It's still shaking!" I would say it lasted over a minute. I've been living in this part of the world for 2 years and felt a few Earth quakes in that time but this is the strongest and longest by far! Very interesting and a little scary. Haven't felt any after shocks yet.
